Thats not a gaming token in the traditional sense. These were won in slot machines and could only be redeemed at a cashier for the face value, not played at a table or in a machine. I have quite a few from Caesars and some from the local casinos here in Laughlin. Neat pices to have. Don't know the history behind that one though.

Anyone know how much silver those tokens contain and their purity? What alloy is the outer ring comprised of?

I sold 2 old (2001 editions) gaming tokens from the aladin and new york york last week. I'm not 100% on this as I got it off a different e-bay auction but they said it was a .5 ounce silver center with the outer ring being copper. I don't know if yours is rare. I got 11.50 each for both of mine.

I have some WWII ration tokens, some say "OPA - 1 Red Point" and are about the size of a dime and are red. Others say OPA - 1 Blue Point" and are same size but blue. Any idea of value??

Welcome to the forum coagedwar! OPA tokens are not extremely valuable, and the value will depend upon the letters on the token. Here is a site that provides some background information, and lists the letter combinations along with their values.
