New collector first time poster but short time lurker! Is it possible to find W mint Mark nickels in coin rolls from the bank?

Welcome to CT Wood Duck! Since the Mint only issued the West Point nickels in sets purchased from the mint (Proof set, Silver Proof set, and Uncirculated Mint set), it is very unlikely you will find a W mint mark nickel in a roll from the bank. The only way that will happen is if somebody removes the W mint mark nickel from one of the aforementioned sets and spends it.

Welcome to the neighborhood @Wood duck 72. Is it possible? Of course, but remember, the mint does not roll coins, a third party like Brinks does and while they may have all of the latest minted coins, it is still a mixed bag, but that's one of the reasons many do coin roll hunting. Good luck and post photos of your finds.
