The boss has been buying some pretty heavy duty coinage as of late but some nice paper rolled in today.
NOT something I see everyday in small size notes. 7 1935A experimental $1 silver certificates. THREE are consecutive serial numbers!
Funny thing is I don't remember if the consecutives were R or S. There was a mix but he was handing them to me to see if I thought they'd go CU. Well, they will. Probably around 64 from what I saw and I'm sure they'll be headed to PNG.

Not exactly sure what he paid but am sure it was well under bid. I KNOW he'll want to keep them intact and he probably doesn't even realize that there are 3 consecutive as we were busy. I'M the one that notices these things.

I'm not in a great position to be buying any of these at this point but just may have to give one a shot. If I can get it fairly close to Greensheet I'll take a stab at one.

Gonna do some research. Keep your fingers, toes and eyes crossed for me!

Good luck Clembo, it would have been nice just to see them :D but that's like being handed a piece of gold then having to give it back. I like golum's line - "my precious". :) Okay maybe a little too much LOTR lately...

    Hope you get one!
