Lucius Verus - the war in the East

Nice coins in this thread. I have a worn VIC PAR sestertius:

COS II S C: Victory standing r. [holding palm?] attaching shield inscribed VIC PAR to palm tree.

This is my latest Verus, a sestertius with Mars striding forth with a trophy and spear:

Roman Egypt, Alexandria. Lucius Verus , AD 161-169. Billon Tetradrachm (22.2mm, 13.76g, 12h). Dated RY 4 (AD 163/164). Obv: Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev: Tyche seated left, holding rudder and cornucopia; L-Δ (date) to upper left. Ref: Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 3677 var. (laureate); K&G 39.82 var. (same); Emmett 2363.4. Obv: Laureate-headed bust of Lucius Verus wearing cuirass and paludamentum, r. / ΑVΤ Κ Λ ΑΥΡ ΟVΗΡΟϹ ϹƐΒ.
Rev: Tyche standing, l., wearing kalathos, holding rudder and cornucopia. / ΑΜΑϹ Τ ΜΗΤ Κ ΠΡΩ ΤοΥ ΠοΝΤ ƐΤ ΡΞƐ.
RPC 3411.

 

This sestertius was minted between December 166 and December 167 under the joint rule of Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus, which explains both seated on the reverse and consistent with the Congiarium probably held to celebrate the victory of Romans over the Parthians in 165-166:
