Slowly but surely I am learning how to do this lol Thanks to you kind people who have helped me thus far. I have uploaded some pictures of a few of the coins. I have more to do but my isp only gives 10 mb so I will let you tell me what you think of these before I removes them and add the others. I am learning so I would just like any information on these, if I should keep or toss back in the box lol. Thanks so much! http://members.cox.net/lmaggard/atb-22.jpg http://members.cox.net/lmaggard/atb-22-reverse.jpg http://members.cox.net/pkmorton/atb-kens-reverse.jpg http://members.cox.net/pkmorton/atb-ken-obverse.jpg
You've got the makins of quite a collection going there Nothing valuable really, but some pretty neat coins all the same. The Peace dollar and the Silver Eagle are probably the most expensive of the lot at about $10 each. But I gotta tell ya bliss - as much fun as you seem to be having with this, if I were you I'd keep 'em all and go from here
lol Thanks so much, I think I shall and guess what! My mom pulled out a collection of coins I never knew about. Seems she and my Father used to collect for fun. Being no expert, I didn't dare try to see if they were worth anything but, they are nice coins. If I remember correctly, she has 3 Morgans, several Ike dollars and one in the original cardboard package it came in! Just neat to me lol. She has of course lots and lots of wheat cents, buffalo, I think a couple mercury dimes, Indian cent 1902, so many other stuff hard for me right now to remember them all lol. She asked me if I wanted to put them with my collection, so I thought for a min (more like a sec I gasp! YESSSS lol) Just thought I would share that with you. I am going to post the pictures of those too on here, who knows maybe I'll have a rare find in all these coins! lol
You've got a couple there that the pics are such I can't make out the coins really - so I can't offer much help with identifying them. But most of them are pretty easy to see what they are. Like those with the harp - they're from Ireland. The 10 P stands for 10 pence. The other British coins are fairly obvious, shilling, two shilling etc. Thought I even saw one from the Bahamas. You have a couple there I don't know off the top of my head, Arabic legends. But somebody else will come along that can help with those few. If ya asked me - I'd say you're hooked
lol Thank you for the reply and yes I think you are correct. I have a fever now, gets the blood flowing nicely lol.
