Happy to find a rare coin! I cleaned the coin with distilled water and a toothbrush and finally was able to ID it, although I'm not sure if I overcleaned it. Not sure why it shows up silver underneath when I'm pretty sure its a bronze coin too. Any thoughts?

These coins were originally silvered, but sometimes even when the silvering has disappeared, still have a "silvery" appearance. Lots of factors involved, from the composition of the alloy to cleaning.

These are pretty tough to find. I've gone through around 1500+ bulk (junk) coins and only ever found one single Delmatius.
