FIRST. The coin looks like it has been cleaned, whitch will never be able to be graded and worth much of anything. ALTHOUGH, the fields are acctually nick free. though thatmay be due to the cleaning. I may be wrong about it being cleaned, bad photo's... bad color.... SECOND, if the coin WAS NOT CLEANED.... It has significant wear, on the obverse (witch is the front) it has some scratches on the cheek of her face, and the hair right above the ear is very worn down, also the stars are very worn. ON THE REVERSE, the breast of the eagle is worn almost slick, also the stars are worn flat... I would say this is simple a 1900 Morgan, 8,830,000 minted, i would grade this VF15-VF20, just from the photo's and its value = $12.00 - $20.00 MAX ALSO it is not a VAM Variety.... Hope that helps.... -David
The coin is about XF40 ,and is worth around 23 dollars to 27 dollars this is the PCGS listed price if you were to sell it to a dealer he would give you about 10 bucks for it Ebay about 18 bucks. The coin iis not a key date. Well if you look for a Vam then it will be worth more depending on what vam you have Jazzcoins Joe
Don't Clean Them Hello paulknowsnothin, The 1900 dollar appears to be one of the more common date dollars in very fine (VF) to extra fine (EF) condition. There are many 1900 dated dollars available to collectors. The price paid would be something between the bullion value $12 to collector value of something like $16. The experts ahead of me have stated that your particular 1900 dollar does not include any obvious rare variety or anything. You probably could get $12 to $16 dollars today & that price will go up & down with the price of silver. Regarding all your coins DON'T CLEAN THEM in any way. Coin collectors want an old coin to look like an old coin. If you clean a coin, I guaranty you that the value will be reduced and sometimes it can be reduced all the way to zero.
