I think that is a buggy bugs variety but not quite you may have one or two fangs missing what that really is,is a die gouge fell in a cool place. here's a pic of one Kazzcoins Joe
Yes. It is important to note that this is the effect of a die clash. It was really pushed on the 1955 dated coins but this "Bugs Bunny" die clash , as it has come to be known can be found on Franklins minted in different years. Thanks, Bill
Also, I would check to be sure the slab was not tampered with. How that coin got graded as an MS- 64 is a mystery to me. Thanks, Bill
Yes, it most certainly is! ANACS will certify it as such. I do think that PCGS will do so now as well but they did NOT do so until just recently. I have one in an anacs holder in MS63. A friend of mine also has a 1956 or a 1953 ....... I can't remember which one. I'll get an image of mine uploaded in a few and post it here. EDIT: Well shoot! I'm not able to upload images to my webspace at the moment. Will do so when I'm able. AND: If submitted to PCGS, you'll have to include the FS# with it and you'll have to pay extra for it. You'll have to verify this because I'm not 100% sure.
Once again, there is a difference between the years. 55 is different from 54. Just my opinion. I am not an expert.
