okay...please forgive me...i have no clue what i am doing...found an interesting coin in a box of them today...looked at the date and thought it cool that it was from 1900...looked it up on the internet and have been reading for an hour now...learning about all sorts of acronyms....ms, pcgs, ngc, pr...didn't realize there was a whole world out there of "coinness"...that being the case...how do i figure out...without driving a few hours, or sending this coin to one of the hundreds of people online who ask you to send the coin to their location so they can tell you what they are worth...how do i figure out if it is worth more than a dollar...
i have been reading about coin rainbows and vinegar comparisons so i must say i have no real idea where to start...
wanted to cheat and ask a professional...

It is probably worth about $20+ depending on the condition. If you would post a picture of it we can give you a more accurate value. And welcome to CoinTalk!
