    Looks like a Chinese Cash coin. Here is an old thread which discusses coin not unlike this one... My guess would be a Ming Dynasty issue from 1368-1644. Oh, and Welcome to the forum.

    ls8driver Chinese Coin collector

    The coin is a Qing dynasty cash coin issued under Emperor Gao Zong (1736-95).

    The characters read Qian Long Tong Bao.

    Can't tell anything more without a pic of the reverse and details of weight and size.
