Looking back through my old blue Whitman folders I find I have folders for U.S., Canadian, and British coins. Having just returned from Puerto Vallarta with a ton of common circulation coins, I am wondering if Whitman, Dansco, or any company makes folders for Mexican coins. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance for any answers offered.
Here are a couple albums: Dansco Mexican coin albums Well, that link didn't go back to the same page I was looking at, but somewhere in there are two Dansco albums, one for Libertads and the other for regular coinage. You could also use Air-Tite albums.
I have been collecting mexican silver coins for fun, I have a mini-hoard going on I would really like dansco to produce a mexican type coin folder, maybe split it up into eras ( considering they have been minting coins in mexico for a lot longer then in the US, 400 years? ) Its amazing to me the sheer variety of coinage that they have had south of the border! I even considered getting out the calipers and measuring the coins, maybe making my own "custom" album, But i can't really make one as nice as the US type set. dansco has books for euro's, coins form ireland, autralia, I have seen some canadian ( but no type set ) but only TWO books for mexican coinage! Mexico Liberty Cap Peso 1898 - 1909 Mexico Libertads I personally would like to see a type set folder of canadian coinage ( at least ) and a type set ( or sets ) of mexican coinage... Maybe if enough people are interested and write dansco they will produce them?

Dansco does NOT respond well to written request or emails. It took them forever to get the Statehood Quarter albums made and on the market and I have tried repeatedly to get a response concerning a new album for the Westward Journey Nickel Series as I don't want them in my Jefferson album which is heavy and loaded to the max at this time. I also want a NEW album for the new Jefferson series starting next year but apparently THEY are not listening or really don't care at this time. Is anyone else making a Westward Journey Album yet?
You're only talking about 12 coins or so ? Peace, Keelboat, Bison, Ocean, each in D, P, and proof ? Maybe 16 if you include silver proof ? On the other hand, with Dansco they could include all of those on a single sheet that would go into an album, they wouldn't have to generate an entire album.
