    Hi
Today I found what I think is a Roman bronze coin .It measures 31.22 mm in diameter and is 3.5 mm thick. I'm hoping that some one could please help to identify the Emperor and date the coin. .
    Kind regards Danny.

it looks like a Hadrian sestertius. The reverse reminds me of Virtus, though the pose does not seem quite right.

compare with this example from acsearch

Impressive call, Victor Clark. ...You're really standing on the shoulders of giants, not just sitting on them!

Just got around to looking at your website ...and your Vcoins shop. Your point about using coins as another entire dimension of primary source material --as in, Why Not?-- resonates, Loud and Clear.

Thank for the reply and the images of the Hadrian sestertius . I looked for about an hour and couldn't find any coins that looked similar to mine.
