Is there a reference source which can also show me what the defective die looks like? When I search I can only see what the resulting coins look like.
Not that I know of. The die would look like the coin, with a piece of the die missing where the cud is on your coin.
Exactly what I wanted to see! Thanks. I was just curious what the damaged die looks like. If the damage is small enough, I can see how it might go unnoticed for a while.
