Going to call my dump bank tomorrow and see if their lobby appointments include use of the coin machine. If so, I will dump $200 in cents at least once this week. The bags and boxes of coins in my basement are getting out of control.

Gonna need him to bring the front loader to my house to pick up the rental fee. Then I can take the rest of my hoard to the bank :p

My dump bank has reclosed all their branch lobbies So I am waiting in the commercial lane to dump about $600 in halves. CRH isn’t fun anymore!

Picked up another box of cents today. I have about 12 unsearched mixed boxes, 20 solid date 2019P, and almost 20 bags that each hold $50 in searched coin ready to get dumped if I ever get a chance.

Here in East TN, most local credits are staying open, but several big banks have switched to drive-thru only. My pick-up bank (SunTrust) shut down their lobbies months ago, so I tried picking up boxes from my local credit union (where I usually drop off searched coins). I picked up 3 or so boxes of nickels from my credit union over the course of a month, and all of them were uncirculated 2019s and 2020s. :banghead:

Hope the vaccine will be here soon...

At least you have seen 2020 coins.

Vaccine won't be here for quite awhile, friend.

I live in Middle Tennessee not that far outside of Nashville, and I've been finding my fair share of 2020s in circulation since late February. However, I still have yet to find a single 2020W ATB quarter as the local banks have been rationing coins exclusively to local businesses since early June. The lobbies at the local banks in my area have remained open throughout the pandemic, with the usual social distancing guidelines in place. Moreover, my credit union has been encouraging members to dump their spare coins into their coin counting machine to help alleviate the coin shortage. With that being said, I don't think my credit union plans on closing their lobbies anytime soon.

I work at a regional bank, but not in a branch, and while the states in our footprint allowed branches to reopen their lobbies the branches may only be using 2-3 staff. If one of them calls in sick it puts the lobby at risk of closing for that day as there is minimum staff required to allow customers inside for security and safety purposes.
