I’d like to ditto what @seth77 said. I knew I liked @Alegandron from the first few post I saw of his. I can just tell you are a great person, definitely someone I would want to hang out with in real life if we knew each other in person. Great work!
What do you expect when many of the "Non-Ancient" members are here only to learn if their die-crack penny is worth anything.
Thank you so much @Alegandron for all your time, answers and sharing. You are absolutely soooo very likable. Well deserved Lots of Kudos for you
Yes.. Not only quantity, but quality. A 5.61 likes-per-post ratio is top percentile. 'Cause I can be such a nerd at times, I glanced at the link that @dougsmit posted, and ran a few numbers. @Roman Collector also deserves some recognition for quality posting with a whopping 6.89 likes per post.
I dropped my Facebook account for personal reasons long before joining CT & pay little attention to the number of "Likes" anyone has. If I like a thread or post a member has written I'll express it with a written comment. Brian or "Alegandron" as most of us know him has an unequaled enthusiasm for CT & ancient numismatics & certainly deserves recognition for that ! There is a base of contributors to this website who keep things going with interesting & entertaining threads & posts, & Alegandron is definitely in that group .
Congratulations @Alegandron! Really glad you are here on the forum, you are awesome and I always value your posts. When I have a (half/quarter) shekel from Magna Graecia (which I am looking for), you will be the first one to see . I like your enthusiasm about Carthage. I also just noticed I am already more than 2 years on this forum, time goes quick when having fun.
Thank you. The first couple years, I never posted. Just read and learned. However, I have been collecting for around 30 years.
