Hey guys despite my name i know nothing about coins ... I just like them and hang on to a lot of them. Well anyway im trying to get into coin collection and i have gone through my "collection" and identified all of my coins except for one it has some sort of maybe arabic writing on it or something like that and it has a man with glasses on one side and like a mosque on the reverse. Thats probably not enough info to id this coin but i thaught i would take a chance and even if you dont know where it is from suggestions or even guesses would be apreciated Thanks a ton -Oh and does anyone have any suggestions for how i should store my collection im trying to think of something that will protect them and be inexpensive.
Oh come on Richie!!! You take all the fun out of it. Let's see. I'll get the 'ole crystal ball out. I'm guessing 7 piastres, Egypt, 1972. Of course, the arabic actually translates to 1072 which is based on their calendar system and roughly translates to "the year we had that really long dust storm." It was once used to buy a soft drink and I have a vision which shows the OP standing next to a kangaroo at a fork in the road. Both look perplexed. Catalog value varies greatly depending on whether you're looking at the right coin or not. Hope this helps!

I'm almost 100% sure that coin is from Thailand. The only reason I know that is my brother went there a few years ago on a service trip and brought me back some bills and coins. I know their currency is the "baht" but I don't know what denomination this coin is.
