It is an ANACS MS-64FBL, it has both the snake eye and the doubling of IGWT and the 'B' in Liberty was struck on a Die Chip Do you agree with these errors, the grade, and if so, what is the value? plmk thanks
Stainless: 1) Eye: looks like the reeding from another coin hitting it. 2) IGWT: Looks like strike/machine/mechanical doubling. 3) die chip: looks like it, but: "the 'B' in Liberty was struck on a Die Chip" No correct, there was a die chip, and the die struck the planchet. or Liberty was struck with a die chip. But-- Never "on a die chip." Sorry to be technical, but, I am, I guss. That's Sam, I am. Ah heck, ignore me.
First of all the motto in God we trust looks like class 6 destended hub doubling, because of the extra thickness in the lettering I do see some speration on the U and nothching of the letters i think it's a double die ,but I don't see any other forms of doubling maybe the B of liberty which looks like die deterioration doubling some times you can have both on a coin. i don't no about the die chip thing.I don't think they classified the errors correctly . I don't think it's full bell The snake eye yes that's correct. jazzcoins Joe
Thanks for the help guys. I honestly graded it a MS-63 no FBL, and was going topay MS-63 money, but wasn't sure about the errors...they don't do much for me anyways. thanks stainless
Nice coin Stain. I'd say it's a nice MS-64, but I don't think it's FBL to be honest. Almost, but not quite. But (this has to be expected if you read most of my posts, lol) I could very well be wrong. Phoenix
