Yep, I read about them as a kid, and always wanted to see one. I finally got the chance, from the cliffs of Torrey Pines Park above the Pacific. (What, you expect me to get up before dawn on my own coast?)

I'll see if I can find the shots I took.

I look for the green flash every time I'm on the coast. No luck. I don't think it has ever been near clear enough to even see the horizon like in that pic.
