1944 D Lincoln

    Found this on my short metal detecting trip tonight. It was setting just on top of the dirt under some dried grass. Is this a lamination error? Or just environmental damage?     It does appear to be lamination, but with the amount of environmental damage, it's really hard to say for sure. Good find either way, though.
