Let's see your exonumia!

I apologize for the fuzzy shot, that is all to do with a marred direct fit capsule. The token is in a Bu/Au condition with advertising on both sides. But is it possibly a sample, pattern or presentation token? The "Fun Token" it states, even a special corp. order for an event? I have just under a dozen of like tokens with customer names from a variety of different manufacturers. All from the same estate in Houston Tx. Tilt Inc. was from DFW area.

this is going to be one of my concluding posts. I was given the oncologists proverbial "kiss of death" with a 6 month warning about 12 months ago. Feeling fair but now needing to spend time with my closest. I've enjoyed the last year or so realizing the TAMS/TECS/EXONUMISTS views on tokens medals and all this round & metal...

I bought this for sentimental reasons. I frequented this place quite a bit "back in the day" especially the game room.

Grand Prix game token: brass, m/a, 25mm, 5.5 grams

 

Skylab 1 unflown Sterling Robbins medallion from the collection of Skylab astronaut Paul Weitz. 300 were minted, of which 50 flew on the mission.

I have others if people are interested in seeing them

 

I'm actually sitting on a couple dollars worth of the grand prix tokens, in the brass and the silver colored metal composition also. I went there a lot as a kid. I don't live far from where it was. think I will post them both when I get home from work today! thanks for the reminder, they are sitting in a jar with chuck E cheese tokens and aladdin's castle tokens. ahhh the good ol days!

 

So here they are in both compositions. Took forever to find what this thread was called to find it again, exonumia... I'll have to remember that!

Here's a few of my Tokens, maybe a fob or two as well! The cannery Token is one of my favorites, not sure why, maybe it's the Davey Crockett look!

 

Here's more, could be I had posted some before. Hard to keep track of all these pics! The 3rd pic is a Token minted by George B. Soley, 13mm Prayer on reverse, terrible pic but you get the pic!

 

Oh Gawd, forgive my post above! I didn't realize some of the pics are upside down. Here's a few more pics! The German Magic Token with the devil with horns and trumpets is a top dollar item as it's a really rare one!

 

These 2 huge medals just came from Portugal in the past hour. The first one is about 320 grams and 10 cm diameter. Second one is about 305 grams and 8.9 cm diameter. By far the biggest "coins" I have so far.

Any guesses as to what this is from? It came out of a big lot of coins from Japan.
