I found this 1993 one cent in my pocket change, it has no signs of copper coating the placet is larger than normal. the ridge is very high and thicker than normal.could it be a error coin:headbang:
intersting. Hard to tell from the pics. Maybe it is a 1990 no-s proof wannabe counterfeit? The genuine coin is worth 3 grand, so I'm sure there is some incentive to fake one. However, you'd think they'd at least make it the right size, eh? I really have no idea, so lets let the experts chime in. cool find.
If U don't have a scale go in to a jewelery repair shop and as them to weight it. It maybe stuck on wrong planchet?
not yet unable to take to jewler for weighing.the tail side is slighty concave, the edges are very high..anyone know of some tipe of chemical that could have removed the copper coating compleatly?
