Fake, unless there's an obverse I don't know about - compare the date to a graded example. the 5 should be quite curly;)

Come on now OP. Seller lists item as "flying eagle dollar coin", does not accept returns, lists he is from Fairbanks Alaska, (I am sure good people live there, but what are the odds this coin went there minted before it was a US possession?), and wonder about it? Fake date, fake coins, and 2 of those 3 facts would prove it to me.

Cartoon date is a dead giveaway even with blurry images.

Totally fake. The date is not even close to what a genuine one would look like.

Without even comparing it to a genuine example. You can tell it's fake by the laughably bad date fonts. Plus, awful pictures and 0 feedback are clues of an insidious seller.

There is a whole slew of them with the gash in the shield. No need to look any farther.

Not only is the date a giveaway, but the obverse stars ae too. Some of them are just God-awful bad and not from wear. They're misshapen.

This looks like a part of a complete set of Seated Dollars the Chinese put out about 10 years ago. Not only were all the coins fake, but the Dansco Album it came in was a knock-off too.

Flying Eagel Silver Dollar Coin??? Unlike Flying Eagle Cents, the eagle on this specimen is not flying. Then he lists the denomination for this masterpiece as 50c. Do we need more clues?

Just as it was elsewhere, counterfeit from China. It’s from the same vintage they were selling years ago in full sets, all of the “coins” bad.

Everybody says it is fake. Why is it still out there getting a bid! Report it!

As of this morning, Aug. 10, at 7:50 am, Eastern, this obviously fake coin has an opening bid of $200.00. What's this dude thinkin'?
