I scanned $1,500 worth of Loomis Quarters. Not a single "W".
I've had a fresh $500 box of more Loomis on my desk for months now. Not motivated to go through it...

that won't break MS65, too many bag marks still on the obverse. on his cheek and between the R in dollar and the W being the worst of them.

for perspective, slabbed MS65 2019 W quarters sell right around $20 on ebay now, although the American Memorial Park one seems to sell good between $35-$70 depending on when an MS65 gets listed on there.

it's a new design, I mean if you put it on ebay right now, ungraded, you can probably get someone to buy it for $75-$100, but in a week, that will go down and go lower and lower.

for another perspective, the first two designs for 2020 are selling now on ebay raw for $5-$10 each. once the "new" factor and the "gotta have it now" people wear off, they drop in price.

by the time you get those back from grading, the price will have gone down to a point where it's a break even unless you are getting MS66 or better.

But up to you. people grade 2020 lincoln cents also, I think it's crazy to pay the fees for something that will sell for like $10.00 in MS66, but people do it for various reasons.

I think the reverse is pretty clean, the obverse as some pretty bad nicks on the cheek, neck and under the W that will keep it below MS65. Ideally, you'd want very minor marks as a candidate for grading you'd want the goal of MS66 MS67 or MS68 and nearing perfect to spend the money.

I mean even now, you could sell that on ebay today for about $100 ungraded. Then buy all 5 of them in MS65 slabbed next year with the money and maybe even have change left over.

    LOL

@John Burgess: yes. I've decided to wait for a much nicer one. Going to go through my 2019-2020 W's to see if I might have one that will go 67 or 68. Thanks for all the info.

I am at the casino. I found it's easier to wait for the them to show up here than go to the bank and not knowing whats in the box. I have to go to every department every day and trade for rolls. Been working out good. Weir 13 , 26 bats and 3 salt.

Doesn’t seem like these W’s are even unc. Even in (my)full quarter cases. All the P minted ones for me were spenders. Plus. Highly polished obverse. Halo effect I’ve Also die adjustment in middle of coins reverse. I got a crap box

Actually, now that I see your 3rd W quarter you posted, I would have it graded. Uncertain about the luster, but it has only minimal bag marks. Probably MS67-68.
