I ordered a few sets on Nov 21 around noon , and the mint site said they shipped today. I had been checking the last chance sale and they were available for about 10 minutes after i ordered . i don't know how long before i ordered that they were available.

I bought this series of sets when they first came out, but I never see them listed (as to present value) in any of the coin magazines. I've been looking in the magazine price list section for mint sets, proof sets, etc., but heve never seen the Westward Journey nickel sets mentioned.

Does anyone know what their approximate resale value is?

I saw rolls for $4.00 (2x face) at the last coin show I was at.
Everyone is hoarding them. I think the D- Peace Medal might have been $8.00 for a roll.

Thanks. I'll keep my eye out at the next coin show in Long Beach (CA) in Feb.

The mint packaged sets contained the P, D, and S-proof copies of the two different Westward Journey nickels minted in that year. (Six coins total.) They are nicely packaged in a plastic holder like the proof sets.
