Circulated 2001 D Roosevelt Dime

    OK Ruben, let's talk about this dime. What would you grade it ? And why ?

    That coin is certainly hammered in the center!

    It has some rim dents but it is very sharp in the hand, which is why I pulled it out of circulation. XF 40

    I was carrying this dime on 9-11. I pulled it out of circulation that morning when I went to the newsstand and picked up Barrons. I'm very attached to it.

    On that one I would agree. It's an excellent pic by the way, worthy of use for teaching. The way the luster is broken on the high points of the hair - you captured the effect perfectly. It allows those who do not understand luster breaks to see them quite easily. So do the dark spots on the cheek.
