GTG: 1849-O Seated Liberty Half Dollar?

    What kind of grade would this tragically worn half dollar get? :happy: Definitely cleaned as shown on the reverse. Could it pass for F-12?

    I venture a guess that it won't make f12. But I haven't checked photo grade. AG5 maybe.

    Obverse definitely AG. Reverse G. When you lose any semblance of a rim it has to be AG on most coins.

    Ag 3 my grade. The g-6 reverse might bump it to G 4. But the obverse rim keeps it to Ag that coin saw a lot of commerce likely In antebellum south and during and after the civil war. If it could only talk. I love coins like this

    Still a 160 year old coin that saw a lot of use is pretty cool in my book.
