    Nice coin. I love Saxon coins but those from 8th century England are very sparse and not cheap!

    My only Offa is a cut halfpenny (but at least I got the half with his and the moneyer's names on it):

    Light Coinage, Group II, 780-792, London. Moneyer Aethelweald. OFFA with chevron-barred A over REX and separated by line of pellets with forked ends. Moneyer name in two lines ADEL PALD divided by line of pellets with forked ends.
