If you get this one figured out make sue I find out, I have a bunch of Indian Heads and Buffalo nickles that I want to treat.
OK there's good news and bad news. The bad news is that you can't get the wore out offa your coins. The good news is that I have a sure fire way of creating the illusion of removing all the wore out. What you do is to copy down the date and mint of the wore out SLQ. Then you go down to the local Coin Shoppe and buy an EF example of the same date and mint mark. See, the great thing about this trick is that they made more than one of the coins you want to fix. You get an EF, AU or uncirculated example of your SLQ, jam it in a 2x2, and slip that bad boy right in your book in the space the old wore out one once filled. If you like the effect, do the same with the Walker. You can kind of hint to everybody that maybe you managed to dip the wore out offa your coins. Maybe they'll believe it. Maybe they'll laugh and point at you for a few weeks, but you'll have some snazzy looking coins in your book. For revealing my secret you can pay me one old wore out SLQ if you're of a mind to. ;-)
