1900-O VAM 29A Morgan - Grade ?

    With Morgans that is generally what I try to do. I look at the fields and the Wings. The Wings usually have wear when they are circulated.

    Thanks again for all of the feedback. That day went pretty well. The 1900-O 29A was my best pick, but I actually bought several out of the bulk junk bins.

    Nice coins nesvt! Please let us know what happens when you get that 1900-O back from PCGS.

    I would say it has a shot at AU-50, but XF-45 would be a conservative grade for it. New Orleans Morgans are sometimes hard to grade since they are weakly struck in many cases. Also, an interesting VAM. Thank you for showing this.

    Graded PCGS XF40

    PCGS online status shows the 1900-O 29A graded XF40 today.
