With Morgans that is generally what I try to do. I look at the fields and the Wings. The Wings usually have wear when they are circulated. Ruben
Thanks again for all of the feedback. That day went pretty well. The 1900-O 29A was my best pick, but I actually bought several out of the bulk junk bins. Like this 1884-P VAM 3 1891-O VAM 1A clashed BER 1899-O VAM 34B 1880-S 8/7 VAM 8 1921-P VAM 31A and possibly a new variety on a 1901-O
I would say it has a shot at AU-50, but XF-45 would be a conservative grade for it. New Orleans Morgans are sometimes hard to grade since they are weakly struck in many cases. Also, an interesting VAM. Thank you for showing this.
