$5 Star note. I couldent find any info on this note from BEP. I dont think they have made them in a long time. Seems like this note had a small production run. Thanks Steve.
It's right here, but it's long since sold out and the original sale price isn't listed. These notes were leftovers from the last print run of 1995 $5 stars, that the BEP still had on hand after the switch to the Series 1999 designs. The whole run was just 384,000 notes, printed October 1999; and part of that run was presumably used as replacements during the rest of the 1995 $5 printings (which ended in January 2000). So it's a fairly small printing, but a significant number of them were sold in these BEP folders, so the survival rate is probably a lot higher than would normally be expected for a such a small star run.
