    @Real-Lucky. Follow these steps:
    1-At the top or bottom of the page click on Forums
    2-From drop down menu choose the forum you want to post in (error coins, us coins, etc.)
    3-Lower right side in the blue box click on Create New Thread
    4-Create a Title
    5-In the space below that start typing whatever you want to discuss or you can ask a question
    6-In the Tags box, add tags that pertain to your post (e.g., silver, gold, dollar, dime, etc.)
    7-Click on Create a Thread
    If you want to post photos, before you hit create a Thread, click on Upload a file and from your PC open the folder where you store photos, and choose which pics you want to show. after uploading them, click on Create a Thread.
    You can also start a poll if you'd like to. If you want to add a poll do it before you click on Create a Thread.
    Before I create a thread I proof read what I have written to check for mistakes or see if I want to add anything.

    My Father passed in 2001 as well. It was traded for new notes. I travelled a lot in the 90's and used T-lira paper money in Turkey. It was so difficult to figure out what was going on, they devalued so often.I would come back months or a couple years later and the money in my wallet was no good. I would literally have to count zeros on the notes so I wouldn't inadvertently give a billion lira note out for an ice cream (when it only cost one hundred million- lol) . Many countries, such as Italy and Mexico routinely did this. Mexico would just lop off some zeros off their money and suddenly the 50,000 peso note was considered 50 pesos.

    Yes, but the T Lira has been devalued numerous times since the notes you are holding.

    Go to google and enter "money exchange ( enter the largest city near by)" and see what you can find. I know nothing about the turkish lira and hope it hasn't changed the value of the lira he collected. Many Mexico Peso bills has been devalued several times by a factor of 100 or more. Don't wait until it or our currency makes a big change. IMO, Jim
