These are fun! I look forward to seeing what else you have stashed away. Hopefully I can dig out some of my stuff this week.
Beautiful lamination! It looks it might have have taken a strike @ 2:30. Very nice ! I’m digging out some of my stuff. Will post it soon. Keep these beauties coming!
Those are terrific. The third from the last is a pre cud. Can you post both sides of if? It may be listed.
1983 P with strange crack running from Lincoln torso to the center of the rim and traveling along rim.
The 2nd 1914 posted has damaged/environmentally damaged surfaces, no laminations on it. The 1984 a few posts above is a copper-plating bubble, not a lamination. Nice group of diff. date laminations (other than those two I mentioned above)
Thanks Fred. I had doubts about those two myself. I appreciate the feedback. Since 1948 I have saved every odd looking coin I came across. I am just lately starting to go through them. It might be too many to post here.
Congratulations on your anniversary! I also see a linear plating blister on the 1984. It’s kinda unique. The 1982 appears to have a scratch on the obverse and on the reverse. I see lots of these early CU-Zinc Lincolns with lettering that look like yours. I always attributed it to worn dies and lousy planchets. Another neat die crack on the 1983. I’m not sure it continues on the rim. Looks like something else going on... interesting. Can you post full obverse and reverse pictures of this one? Keep them coming. You have collected some interesting coins.
