So I went back to work this weekend.

Since I was home for the long holiday, I was able to go back to work at the Bakery (inside a grocery store). There are 2 cash registers.

First day, Friday, I found a 1943-P War Nickel
But today, I didn't find anything except a 1970-s nickel (just 1 year shy of being a proof - so that's going back in change) and then a primo 1987-d nickel looks like the same one in my mint set. Has all the luster and everything.

And I don't work tomorrow. But it was good to be back at the register for a bit :eat:

Takes the hurt out of having to go back after vacation. Very nice.

 

Nice war nickel find. Think they contain about 1/3 silver content.

 

yup. and for 5 cents its not too bad

edit: looks like its value in silver is about 58 cents
