Entry post premium hand selected Bank of Canada $10 gold in original mint packing. Going to look for a $5 in original mint packing for my Canadain Gold type set.

That is going to be a thing as less then 250 were issued a I’m sure more then a few were cracked out and slabbed. But I’m half way with the Geo V sovereign I got this week. On the other hand I may add a Newfoundland $2/100 pence gold piece as well .

    Entry post!

Boy, I sure hope this thing is still going on... that would be embarrassing!

Good, good. It says early August. First timers, eh!

In all seriousness, I have been on CoinTalk for a good few years and have never entered. I figured why not give it a shot!

Something coin related: I recently got examples of the 2018 American Innovation dollar on eBay for what I think was a really good price! They are all ANACS certified, and have the 3-Coin Set "First Strike" and all. They are also numbered, which is neat since I know they all came from the same set. There is Philadelphia and Denver example (both MS67) and a San Francisco example (PR69DCAM). I really like them. I don't come across money very often, but the bills in my wallet were getting stagnant. I believe this was my first coin purchase in all of 2020! Yes, halfway through the year and I just bought my first coin purchase. Ha! What am I thinking!

Anyways... I will post pictures of them on a new thread someday lol. I really like the design on these coins.

I will reserve my choice for if I actually get picked!

    P.S. Very cute dogs.

I really like the looks of that brass jeton of Louis XIV

Coin related topic: I think I'm going to put the silver from the last collection I appraised and purchased on a WTS post here on the CT.

Thanks for the chance, Rob. You're a true gift to this forum with all that you do.

Thanks for doing this giveaway. You have a lot of really interesting coins! I'm pretty new to coin collecting, and here are two of my favorite coins that I own. I found the dime metal detecting in my yard, and I found the nickel in circulation.

The easiest way, without having to read the whole thread, is to do this:

    1. Type "entry post" into the search box at the top right of the page.
    2. Enter your username in the "Posted by member" line.
    3. Click on "Search this thread only".
This will return all the times that phrase appears in the thread.

This is how I double-check all the winners to make sure nobody cheated (or, as more often is the case, accidentally disqualified themselves) by posting more than one entry post.

In the future, I won't even disqualify people who post more than one entry post, as long as it seems accidental and not like they're trying to game the system. I'll just count the first entry post and disqualify any others.

    Update:

I will let this contest run until Friday, August 7th.

The drawing should take place on or shortly after that date.

Now I'm about to head over to do the drawing for the Santinidollar #1 contest...

Other than silver coins that my Pops put away, my first real intro in coins was when my older brother inlaw gave me a 1865 3 cent piece that he got in change. It was my oldest coin for years..

I would love the 1954S Franklin Half..
    Loving these contests..:)

I do wear a 3X (or even a 4X), as it happens. But that's got more to do with the enormous gut than the heart.

My pick is the United States: silver Washington quarter, 1956, ANACS MS65.
I have a BU roll of them but none 'slabbed'.
It's my birth year so....why not!

I recently finished my 'Uncirculated' Washington quarter book...finally! 1932 - 1998 with all the proofs. One, my 1932-D, is not quite an 'unc'. It's a high 'AU' but, it's gonna have to do for now! ...... Everyone, be safe and good luck!!
