This is probably a dumb question, but is it okay to pay the dealers in SBA and Presidential Dollars sometimes? I have about 6 of them, but IDK if it is rude or not..lol

Money is money. I would expect that they would be a bit more accepting of those coins at a coin show than say in Wally World. Don't go paying in unrolled cents though, unless they are key date wheats:)

They should accept them as payment just as they would one-dollar bills. Plenty of dealers have given me half dollars and dollar coins in change at shows. If a dealer doesn't want the coins, he doesn't want your business, and at today's show, multiple dealers will have the coins you're looking for.

My local dealer got paid in state quarters yesterday and he said the same thing. They all spend. So they should not have a problem - if they do then I would move to another dealer.

My favorite dealer gives me change back in 1976 $2 bills. Another dealer I know gives out proof nickels to all the YN. They should love getting dollars.

I agree , money is money , and some dealers love to give out large coins as change .

It is very cool to pay in dollar coins up to about a $10 purchase.

    Very best regards,
