Unknown Middle Eastern Coin??? Please help to identify!

    Hello everyone! :D

    This is another coin from my grandfathers collection. I think it's a middle eastern coin, and I also think that is Arabic writing? I don't know for sure. If anyone can find any info on this coin, please present it to me. Thanks! :D

    I believe it's from Nepal and possibly a 2 Paisa?

    Its a 2 paisa coin from the Indian state of Baroda. The writing is not Arabic, but Sankskrit.

    Its a 1950 2 Paisa coin of Surat and indeed a Spock coin:eek:.

    The Script is not Sanskrit but rather called Devanagari.
    'Sarkar' or Government wriiten on obverse doesn't sound like Sanskrit but Hindi to me.

    Yes, should have said Devanagari, was thinking of the linguistic roots, not the script.
