MS62 - I believe those frost breaks are not wear.

I'm going to go MS63 with this coin, maybe even MS64. I agree with Ruben that what we are seeing is luster breaks, I don't see any wear and the fields are pretty clean of bag marks. It has a slightly weaker strike (thank you New Orleans) but overall isn't bad.

IMO - it is the marks on the face which stop it from being a 63

There are a number of marks on the face...and I might have been a little liberal with my grading there. I think it still has a shot at MS63 (MS64 is too high now that I take a second look). I think it would depend on the in hand look at the coin. How visible are those luster breaks that run over over the face. I think you can still get a 63 with those hits...but if those luster breaks are at all distracting in hand, I think it would be enough to knock it down.

There are a few too many bagmarks/cuts in Liberty's cheek for it to be MS63. I agree that there is no wear. I would say MS62.

I agree the 1900 is a 62 based off the pictures - same with the 1898, again based off the pictures. I think pictures make the bag marks on morgans look worse than they are. While both are nice coins I would love to see them in hand to get a final judgement. I also think the 1898 bag marks are not as bad as the 1900(based off the pictures), and I might go 63 on it. Don't get me wrong - I like ANACs, but I think they are usually 1 point high on grading. Still very nice coins.

    Thanks Mark_H

I agree!Yes it 100% easier to have them in hand to grade than pictures!!
