Why can't I get on the US Mint site???? It's been several weeks and I can't even get on as a non-suscriber!!! WHAT GIVES????????
I have not confirmed this, but I have read several posts like yours and the answer is along the lines of "The mint wanted to upgrade its web site, web store, and how orders are processed." It was suppose to be down for 3 days, been down for a lot longer than that now. On a related note, does anyone know if it is affecting existing subscriptions? The 2005 Silver Eagle Proofs are released, but no email in my inbox stating the mint is getting ready to ship to a subscriber. I think their whole web store in currently in the fix-it shop.
Just got my e-mail from them today announcing the AMerican Eagle release, but the catalog is still down, we have been trying for four days to buy a bag of the new nickels
Well what the Crap is goin on.. I just tried 7 times to log into the catalog and it says "SERVER NOT FOUND". This is strange.
There have been quite a few problems on the internet lately with accessing sites. And I mean lots of different sites all over the country. It has nothing to do with the site itself - it's the routers and ISP services that are having the problems. For example, I have had no problems whatsoever in accessing Coin Talk - but there are several members in various locations that were not able to access CT for a couple days while I and most othe rmembers could access it with no problem at all. So keep in mind - it's NOT always the web site - but more often than not the equipment located between them and you.
you know, that would make sense. The server for our ISP (we use cable) has gone down for several hours twice in the past week.
Has anyone been able to order Buffalo covers over the website? The checkout still tells me that I am ordering collectors spoons. I keep canceling the order for fear of getting a bunch of stuff I don't want. I hate to call the phone lines just to order (1) 1st day cover.
Subcriptions are working fine.. backordered on some things..you can call the customer service folks to confirm your orders..etc,etc...
