I was going through my old collection of half dimes and I found this one which I marked as a double date. I went to the PCGS site and I didn't see that they graded this type so not sure what it is. What do you think?

Is it a double date and is it worth grading (if anybody grades this variety).

Looks like it's definitely the repunched high date (not really a double die) variety. It's worth a premium. I don't know if they would grade this coin but it's worth a shot. In that coin's condition it might be worth it. Nice coin!

Sometimes I try to imagine conversation between the guy punching the date and his supervisor. "What part of 'evenly spaced' don't you understand?"

Thanks all. Repunched date and not a double date ... I probably knew that in the early '80s when I collected these but unfortunately time has a way of removing a lot of old memories.
