1790 spanish real

    trying to get some more info on this coin, so far i havent had too much luck so ill post some pics and give some info, maybe someone can shed some light on rareity, value etc.

    front has the words
    CAROLUS . IIII . DEI GRATIA . 1790

    back has the words
    . HISPAN ET IND ___ X . M (with a little o ontop) . 1R . FM .


    the back of the coin is alittle hard to see do to wear.
    the M with the o ontop is mexico, FM the mint.

    The coin you have is worth about $10 -$15 to someone who collects them. It seems you already have most of the info about the coin. What else would you like to know ?

    Just to be clear, the M with o on top does denote the mint (Mexico City), but FM are the assayers' initials.
