Wrong Planchet Price Guide

 

That's a great error. I'm surprised that much of the Buffalo design fit on the Cent planchet.

A friend of mine is asking $3,700.

It has great placement. Full and complete profile of both the Indian Chief AND a full body of the Buffalo .

The Mike Byers' price guide is a little high and too generic. Also, this coin is much closer to an MS than a low grade AU. It also doesn't take into account that there might be more than one error or the placement of certain images on an error coin.

I think it is worth more than I what I was quoted. Not too many of these like it with a fully readable date as well.
