Personally, I've become somewhat obsessed with low denomination foreign coin sets (e.g. British farthings/half-pennies/pennies, Swedish 1/2/5 ore, Mexico 1/5 centavo, etc.) Anyone else suffering from a pandemic-induced coin addiction?
I stopped buying a few years ago and liquidated my collection. Now, I look through my wife's periodic coin drop from her purse.
I am still collecting the same old...(AV coinage/ 670BC to present) added 35 AV coins in 2020 so far. However, I have been super busy with work (lawn/garden care) Got a streak of 85 days straight going/ no rainout since April 30th.! Most of those were 13+ hr days. You cannot burnout the human body. Latest coin addition/ AV Solidus ND struck 741-55AD Constantinople Mint Byzantine Empire Emperor Constantine V with his son (Leo IV) John
I picked up a 1911-C sovereign and I decided to go for a “Branch mint type set” which is 7 coins and a Canadian is pretty much the key so I guess that series ? Figure it is a fun little set
My answer would be "none" since I don't collect series. But more to the point, the virus hasn't fueled an interest in anything new for me. I'm still focused on the same coins that had my attention before the pandemic.
Well, I've started collecting US Morgan silver dollars. This is world/foreign coins, but I'm not American, so they are world coins to me!!! So over the last 3 months, I've managed to collect 42 of them!!! Main dates I'm missing are 1892, 1893, 1894, 1895. Apart from these I'm missing 3 Philadelphia mint, 7 New Orleans, about 15 San Fransisco mint, and all of the Carson City ones. About 3/4 are UNC or AU.
Started collecting USA 3 cent silver and 3 cent nickel Purchase coiin from a dealer that does not charge sales tax. Stopped collecting coins from the Royal Canadian Mint since they charge USA states sales tax.

Byzantine Military mint issues of various emperors. Attached is a military mint of Maurice Tiberius, very fun style. Also a follis of Justin II and his bride Sophia. If you look hard enough you begin to believe they don't all look the same.
