XF 45 - AU 50 IMO. nice one johnny.

XF40 but it looks fake to me.

thanks snaz! That grade range was exactly what I was thinking too. It's almost like an XF-48...lol. Actually though, the more I look at it, the more I think it is just a very well struck 45. The hair details on this one are better than some of my BU early Lincolns, but there's not really much cartwheel luster. Just a thick coat of pleasant rich dark brown. :smile

 

That sure looks AU to me. Pretty nice strike too.

Why the EF and low AU grades? My initial thought was 55-58.

 

I agree with Snaz, Jetshack. Based on those pics, I can't say I can go higher. Better lighting, though, who knows where I could go...

 

Here is my adjusted version of the original pic. As I said before, I think that coins is AU. If I had to put a number on it, I would say 53. There is too much wear for a 58 and too many nicks for a 55.
