Today, I had 2 CoinTalkers visit me at the show. Magman and DanR. 1st pic is Mike ( Magman ) who sold me 1/2 bag of wheats, shot the bull for a while and had to get somewhere. 2nd pic is DanR. Great guy, seemed like he is in a perpetual good mood. We had fun talking and he picked up a cpl of coins today. Thanks guys for stopping by and saying hi ! Overall, at the show, I did more buying than selling. There were alot of sportscards and sports related booths/tables. Had a blast anyways and have taken same table for the Janurary show.
Also, everyone should take note of the banner behind us. I would have gotten there earlier and stayed longer, except I had to get one of the belts replaced on my car as well, in addition to the oil change. So that took an extra half hour (got your message btw). And then I didn't realize there was no 35th ave exit on the 101, so I went all the way to the 51st exit, and then back around, lol.
No insult meant. Merely in that pic you look at least 6 inches taller than Jack and Jack is about 6 foot tall. Maybe it is just the angle of the pic, but you appear to dwarf him in it.
Hey Jack! What all is in the cases? Looks like I see some silver and other types of coins. Now on your web site you are wheatie focused. Are you holding out on us??? And it sounds all three of these guys would dwarf me. Plus they have all their hair.
That's funny. I always thought you were 8 feet tall and shot lightning out your... oh nevermind. :goofer:
Congrats guys! :thumb: I've met indianhead once, real nice guy in person, as he is on the computer. And I hope to see Speedy and Mark if I can when I go to KY again. If I ever go to AZ, I'll have to stop in on you and Magman if you guys have the time Jack. Phoenix
We take things in trade Mark, they go to the back row, and if still there at end of show I BST/openforum them. Heres a cpl more pics
When are you going to do some Vegas shows, Jack. I'm not driving all the way to Long Beach to meet you. Of course, our Laughlin show this weekend was just as good as any Vegas show I've been to in recent memory. Guy~
Vegas is in the works, Laughlin as well. Stay tuned, I am asking some advise from others that do those shows regularly. Most Nevada shows are " Bick " shows, notoriously expensive table fees, BUT, if the traffic brings results, we give it a show or 2 and see.......
Be sure to let me know if you work one. I don't attend them all, but would make the show if I know you're there. Guy~
