I did not know where to post this since there's not a specfic area for this topic. I have know idea what this is ,could this be a token of some klind.? There's no denomination on this specimen I found it in a draw at my uncles it's most have been in there for forty years or so. The alloy just looks pure metal not like other tokens / i know it;s not a coin there's no reeding and i like said no denomination no mottos etc etc. I would like if somebody would give feedback on it and tell what the heck it is . It looks like a cast replica of one of the numerous pieces made in the early 1790's to honor Washington. This one has very plump letters/numerals and poor details on the devices, plus very rough fields suggesting it's a modern copy. There is a whole section on these interesting pieces in the Red Book. No real value, numismatically speaking. Sorry!
