Can you tell if Lincoln has been cleaned?

    A simple check in my mind..... If it shines like the bumper of a 58 Buick and it is not a proof strike.... It is likely polished.

    I'm in agreement with the majority. Looks polished to me. Too bad, otherwise its a nice coin. It will effect the value, how much, depends on the buyer. If you plan to have one graded, I would consider returning it. Good luck
