Iceland Proof Set

    picked up yet another 1974 2 coin Iceland Proof Set. this one is the best of the bunch - the 2 coins are still sealed in the plastic sleeves and the coins have no hint of toning, unlike my other 2 proof sets.

    Great designs, yes. But keep in mind that these were made for collectors, and were not intended for circulation. Now the US presidential dollars are made -- oh, never mind. ;)
