I recieved a batch of uncleaned holyland coins a while ago and this coin has been puzzling me for a while. All I can tell you about it is on the Obv. it has a r. facing male head and on the Rev. there is a ?boat? below some greek writing (I have attached some scans of the coin) hope you can identify it!
hmmm, mine has a masculine head and i'm pretty sure the boat on the rev. isnt a galley it doesnt have any visible oars and the front seems to curve up alot? and in the middle of the boat there seemsto be a small square structure. Something to help a bit..; the coin is 22mm
Here are the letters: top row: alpha, sigma, alpha? lower row: Rho, lambda/ alpha, Iota hope that helps also i think there is a mast coming out of the square structure
