New old ten dollar bill

So, I went to the shop and got some foreign coins and a token, 10 pieces in all. Cost me $2. Had $1 in pocket and 1 in wallet, but didn't know about the one in wallet. So, I paid with a twenty. Guess what? Dealer had no change so gave me this and 8 singles. My first one! Folds every way and 3 pinholes, but I am happy! 1928B $10 gold. YAY!

Awesome find!!!! Still looks to be in decent shape. I suppose he knew what he was giving you, but that is awesome that he did that. Next time you buy something, make sure you bring along a $50 or $100 and see what you get back.

That is not a gold certificate. It says federal reserve note on it plus this is an old thread.
