Maybe this is a good time to collect restaurant tokens before they and the restaurants go extinct. This one even has an address. Silver Dollar Restaurant, aluminum, 22mm, 1.0 gram, C/A
If I remember correctly, Circus, TEC is a collector's organization for these pieces. Is that right and what so the initials stand for? Thanks. Bruce
Saxon Mills-brass, M/A, 24mm, 4.6 grams This was a textile mill which is not particularly special in South Carolina. But I like the names Saxon and Spartanburg and also the color which is really dark toned brass more like the third image.
Arcade token. Looks like a telephone token from some European country. https://www.bloomberg.com/profile/company/0211226Q:US
As said above it is a Europe style security arcade token. Like the telephone and vending token, will only work in machines that have the proper spacing of slots same as the old security telephone tokens, introduced in 1910 by the Yale slot & Slug co. also called Geotz tokens after the founder of the company. used mostly in the Chicago area 1910 to 1944
Same as the Yale slot & slug Co telephone tokens introduced in 1910 used in mostly Chicago area 1910/1944 Also called Geotz after the head of the company. The will only work in phones that have the same spacing of the slots.Single stores would sell tokens that only fit the phones in their locations.
